Researchers at the LAPIS laboratory have been working for years now to develop of methods and theoretical models to support the definition of strategies business under conditions of uncertainty and risk.  

Making decisions usually requires the evaluation of at least two options that differ with respect to several characteristics and elements. Selecting one option at the expense of another implies that the person enacts a comprehensive evaluation of the different alternatives, using specific information search and processing methods and decision-making strategies.

In this context, multicriteria decision-making methods represent a useful and rigorous tool recognized worldwide and in the scientific community for the management of complex systems and the definition of business strategies.
